The CryoHolder is the Best Innovation of 2020
Pharsol has had the honour of receiving the Golden National Award for Innovation 2020 for our innovative tool - CryoHolder. This award is a reward for all the hard work we’ve put in creating and developing the CryoHolder, building it up from the idea stage all the way to a marketable product.
A bit about the CryoHolder - it’s a tool for faster, easier and, above all, safer transfer of frozen cryovials from point A to point B. When we were developing it, we kept all of the problems that occur during transferring vials in mind. The tool fits tightly into the vial cap and can be handled very intuitively, thus making every vial transfer 100% safe and accurate.

The CryoHolder is very easy to use and makes the whole transferring process safer and faster.
Innovation day 2020
On Monday, 30th November 2020, the 18th Innovation Day took place. This event is held every year and is an event that brings together individuals and companies from different industries, sectors and countries. This year it took place online with over 600 viewers attending the stream.

As every year before, the main event of Innovation Day is the presenting of awards to innovators who have used their creative talents to optimize an existing process or invent something entirely new.
Awards are given out by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Slovenia (Gospodarska Zbornica Slovenije) and the inventions that receive them (which this year were as many as 43) are divided into six categories. 5 received bronze, 24 silver, 11 golden, 2 received the special innovation award for young companies and 1 received the award for the special award for innovation challenge 2020.

We would like to extend a huge ‘thank you!’ to everyone who has stood by us for the past couple of years and has made it possible, one way or another, to bring the CryoHolder to the point it is at today, one of the best innovations of 2020. All our efforts have been enforced by friends and family, the government and the startup community, working in unison with us and making all of this possible.
Hopefully, the CryoHolder will make working with frozen cryovials a lot easier for more and more people and when it does, we will consider our mission successful. But until then, let’s continue this journey and make the CryoHolder even better.
